The Beginning 2017
The 1st Ball of the Rose Ladies took place on 20 October 2017 in the magical ambience of the Kursalon Hübner in Vienna, under the patronage of DI Walter Ruck, President of the Vienna Economic Chamber and Dr. Ivan Sirakov, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in Austria.
Held under the motto Love unfolds like a rose invited guests from the worlds of diplomacy, culture and business attended the festive charity ball with a gala dinner, and thus co-founded the successful history of the Ball of the Rose Ladies.
The sensitive opening words of the moderator and actress Mirjam Ploteny were inspired by the ball’s motto and by the energy and passion of the ladies of Business Ladies Club Austria and its chairlady Velina Ileva.
With the classical opening of the ball by dancing school Svabek a glittering ball night began.
Well-known classical music, jazz and pop artists, including the successful duo Wladigeroff Bros, the saxophonists Michel Nahabedian and Lubomir Gospodinov, the singers Eva Huml, Maria-Magdalena Christova and Dan Braun, as well as our Ball Orchestra “Vienna Salon Ensemble” delivered unforgettable performances. The Bulgarian folk dance group Kitka delighted the eye with colourful costumes and an energetic dance, which drew all attendees into its spell.
The numerous exclusive raffle prizes surprised and pleased our guests while the catering of The Johann Restaurant in the Kursalon spoiled us with tasty culinary delights.
The high spirits and lively mood were enriched by the exquisite wines of Sigma Vinum.
Our celebrity guests Martina Denich-Kobula, Chairwoman of “Women in the Economy Vienna”, the concert pianist Maria Prinz, model and musician Cyril Radlher, musician Gary Howard, ex singer of the “Flying Pickets”, star Figaro Josef Winkler, celebrity kinesiologist Eleonora Posch and many more also celebrated this evening with joy and dancing.
The evening laid the first founding stone for a new, successful ball tradition, which will be continued and expanded in 2018 and the years to come.
